Mediqwest (previously affiliated with another multi-line insurance agency) has had a presence in the Duluth/Superior and surrounding communities in Minnesota and Wisconsin dating back to its’ original founding in 1990. Headquarters were moved in 1998 from Duluth, MN to the present location in Superior, WI and it was renamed Mediqwest in 2010. Since then, we have grown to 7 full-time agents and support staff providing services to several thousand clients and serving as the hub to our 6 locations throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. Mediqwest strives to be actively involved in all the communities we serve.
Tim is the current President and founder of Mediqwest, which grew out of previous agencies he owned. He has been an insurance agent since 1972 and since then has been involved in all aspects of the insurance industry. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1981 and concentrated on Life Insurance, Investments and Estate Planning. Tim also specialized in Group Employee Benefit programs for much of his career. While he is currently licensed in Wisconsin and Minnesota, his involvement with Mediqwest is focused on our growth through mergers and acquisitions of agencies and agents who are retiring, which is also in his future! His professional affiliations include the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the National Association of Benefit and Insurance Professionals (NABIP). In addition to being active in his local parish, he is a 50+ year member of the Elks Lodge where he served as a Trustee and is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Board for the Richard I Bong Veterans Historical Center in Superior, Wisconsin. Previously, Tim has served in leadership roles in numerous civic and community organizations and is proud to be a lifelong resident of Northern Wisconsin.
Tim is married and resides with his wife, Nan, in Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin where his 3 sons, their spouses and his grandchildren visit often. He enjoys playing golf with his entire family as well as spending as much time as he can with them on the water.

Kent is currently an owner and VP at Mediqwest. Prior to becoming the majority owner at Mediqwest in 2019, he previously owned a Property and Casualty Agency for twenty years that had offices throughout west central and northern Wisconsin. His focus since getting into the insurance business has always been to listen to his clients to best meet their needs. He has owned multiple businesses through the years and their success has been built on doing the little things to keep both the clients and team members happy. Kent is married to his wife Jen and they have two boys and split their time between Shoreview, MN and Hayward, WI. When not working Kent enjoys spending his time being active outdoors and attending Packer or Badger games.
Celeste joined the Mediqwest team in 2014 and received her insurance licensed in 2008. Her experience is in Medicare, individual / family, large and small insurance. Celeste brings with her experience a solid background in Medicare educational workshops, data analysis, benefit review, benefit compliance, and sales review all while providing excellent client services. Celeste currently holds life and health insurance licenses in WI, MN, Fl, AZ and has become Principal Agent/ Shareholder Spring of 2025. When Celeste isn’t working, she is spending her time with husband Greg and enjoying her family and grandchildren.
Weston started with Mediqwest in June of 2024. He has been working in the insurance industry since 2013 working with Medicare, family, small and large group insurance plans. He finds the most rewarding part of working in the insurance industry is educating people and the ability to help people navigate through the confusion and simplifying the complex systems that can be intimidating at times. Weston currently holds Life and Health licenses in MN, WI, IA, ND & SD. When not assisting clients, he enjoys watching his son play college football at UW River Falls or fishing with both of his children and friends.
Olyvia joined the Mediqwest team in the spring of 2025 and received her agent license in July of 2025. She received her AA in Human Resources from Northwoods Technical College in 2021. Olyvia is not new to the health industry as she has been working in Human Resources at a long-term care facility for 3 years prior to joining Mediqwest. Olyvia’s passion is helping educate her clients with how Medicare works. Olyvia holds her life and health insurance licenses in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Olyvia is married, with two young children and enjoys spending time with them and with extended family. Olyvia and her family reside in Superior, WI.
